What is slow lyrcial?

Published on

Disco slow lyrical is in-between contemporary and ballet. It’s danced to slow music such as an acoustic version of the track, but the dancing its self can be quite fast and dramatic at times. We still concentrate on our technique, poise, posture and lines but the movement is a lot bigger and more over the top than a general slow dance routine.

At competitions this routine travels around the hall like a disco solo. You travel anticlockwise around the hall too dance infront of each judge to hope you get your number written down.
